PRICE LIST

We welcome children to come along on any of our adventures! Please let us know in advance however so that we can provide that appropriate safety gear.

Children under 1 year old are free
1 to 3 years old are 50% off the adult price
4 to 12 years old are 30% off the adult price

Kayaking Instruction

Introductory classes are 4 hours long. Group of 3 or more: $79/person. Semi Private (2 persons): $95/person

Rescue classes assume prior experience and provide the paddler with essential safety training. Group of 3 or more: $79/person. Semi private (2 persons): $95/person. About 4 hours long.

IMPORTANT: We offer introductory courses and rescue classes which must be arranged for ahead of time (when the reservation is made). For safety reasons, renters must take as a minimum the introductory course or it's equivalent from another reputable sea kayaking centre prior to the rental period. Additionally, at least one member of a rental party must be capable of performing group and self rescues. All overnight renters must have experience in rescue techniques and basic navigation.

Kayakers should wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather. Shorts or pants that can be rolled up are a good idea as you will get wet up to the knees. Footwear must be sturdy and able to get wet. Barefeet and thong type sandals are dangerous on shell covered, rugged shores. Old running shoes or "Water Shoes" are ideal. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a sweater or light jacket and long slip on pants. For those who are doing a rescue class, even though we have the warmest ocean temperatures in B.C., we recommend that you bring a wetsuit if you have one or longsleeve synthetic pants and top. We have a limited number of wetsuits which may be rented for the class for $10. A warm hat is nice to have as well. We provide all required safety gear plus water bottles and a light snack.

Sailing On The Schooner Misty Isles

Day Sailing Charters For Families Or Groups
For groups of up to 4, Misty Isles charters for $75 Canadian/ hour. For 5 to 6 guests, $85/ hour; for groups of 7-10, $110/ hour and for 11 or 12 guests, $130/ hour. A typical Desolation Sound charter is 5 to 6 hours long and a voyage to Mitlenatch Island lasts 6 to 7 hours. The minimum charter length is 3 hours. All safety gear and a light snack with a beverage is provided.

Scheduled Trips

We have scheduled half day trips departing Cortes Island for Desolation Sound and Mitlenatch Island throughout the summer. To find out about timing and destinations, check out the calendar link or contact us
A 3 hour evening sunset trip is $70/ person.
Half day trips to Desolation Sound or Mitlenatch Island are $94/ person.

Extended Voyages
Extended, voyages to overnight destinations may be booked in advance. Misty Isles charters for $600 per day plus $185 per day for a deckhand/ naturalist. Full meals onboard and kayak rentals can be arranged. Please contact us so that we can give a price on your own customized trip!

ADDITIONAL RENTALS AND CHARGES
- Kayak delivery is free to Manson's, Hollyhock and Cortes Bay. There is a $25 pick up or drop of charge to the Gorge, Squirrel Cove, and Whaletown areas.
- Roof racks with 1 cradle set $5 per day, extra cradle set $2 per day.
- Squirrel Cove charges $5 per boat to launch there to a max of $20

LIABILITY WAIVER
All participants in sailing trips, guided kayaking trips or kayak rentals will be required to sign a waiver of liability. Those participants under 19 years of age will require a signature from a parent or guardian.

All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes are not included.

We require a 30% deposit to reserve your space on a program or for equipment rentals. The balance of the payment is due at the time of the activity. If you do not show up for your reservation without contacting us, you will be charged the full amount. Deposits and payments can be made by VISA, American Express, Mastercard, cash or cheque made out to the address below. Our programs run in the rain but may be cancelled due to excessive winds or other safety concerns, In this case the deposit will be refunded in the same manner paid. Our main goal is that you have an enjoyable experience out on the water. If you have any concerns leading up to the trip, please let us know.

Misty Isles Adventures reserves the right to cancel or modify any program or rental due to environmental conditions or other causes beyond our control.
